Where were you and how old were you when you first heard someone beatbox?
I was in Philly and the first time I heard someone beatbox was at the movie theater watching Buffy Love (R.I.P.) of the Fat Boys in Krush Groove.
Did you start beatboxing then?
No. If not then when did you start? I started in High School in the Bathrooms and in the Lunch Room.
Describe what Beatbox means to you?
Audio Emancipation, the ability to do whatever you want to do vocally.
Who or what were your influences?
Bobby McFerrin, Mother Nature, D.J. Jazzy Jeff, My boys in my neighborhood growing up & GOD.
Do you feel that beatboxing has been slept on or over looked in Hip Hop?
Somewhat, you always hear of a Human Beatbox here and there in the History of the Culture, but Our time is coming sooner that you think.
If you had to chose a Beatbox AllStar team for the Hip Hop Olympics who would be your starting team of 5ive?
Well for starters, let me just say that every Vocal Percussionist has a different style. But if I had to pick a starting 5, I would go with Scratch(the Roots/ Philly), Killa Kela(UK), Kenny Muhammad (the Human orchestra, NYC), Eclipse(France) & Myself (the Human SP1200).

Explain MIC Club.
Mic Club is a weekly show that my company, 4 Kings Entertainment, produces every week at the Apache Cafe in Atlanta, GA, USA. It's an Open Mic Freestyle Battle with a 4 Piece Band called BFD(Burn Fire Daily), The one and only Dj OX and Live performances. It's a MOVEMENT, a Dojo for MC's, some have even compared it to "CHURCH" in the Congregational sense of the word. We provide a forum for MC's of every caliber, Local and Rookies, as well as, Veterans like KRS-One, Craig G, etc. We try our best to educate our audiences on the cultural aspect of Hip Hop while keeping it entertaining.
